We are currently meeting at the Norvell Children's Theater Sundays at 10am in Salisbury, NC.
If there's a God who wants to know you, don't you want to know Him? Deep within each of us is a desire to know our Creator and understand His love. Our mission starts with helping our family, friends and neighbors know God as we get to know Him more ourselves.
"that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of him,"
Although life can be incredibly difficult and often we feel like we are spinning our wheels, knowing God means seeing that there is light ahead. Forgiveness from God means hope for our future. It is our goal to hold onto this hope and share it with everyone we can.
"having the eyes of your hearts enlightened, that you may know what is the hope to which he has called you, what are the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints,"
Rules. Most people think that is all God is about. But when you know God and hold onto hope, you learn that a relationship with God isn't about keeping rules, but embracing freedom! As we learn to live free, we use that freedom to follow God and release people from captivity.
"For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast."
There is no greater feeling than discovering your purpose and living it out. We were created to be productive and do good work, but it is only by uncovering how God designed you that you can see it clearly. We want to empower people to accomplish their life-work.
"For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them."
THE SPIRIT LED THE FIRST CHRISTIAN CHURCHES TO BOTH TRUTH, WHICH INSPIRED THEM TO KNOW AND LOVE GOD, AND TO GRACE, WHICH INSPIRED THEM TO LOVE AND SERVE EACH OTHER. IT WORKED FOR THEM AND IT WORKS FOR US.
It may seem self-explanatory, but our vision is what we see happening with our church ministry. We want to see our mission to know God, find hope, live free, and do good play out in three significant ways. We want to see... a healthy local church family on mission together, a Family Center equipping families to honor God in their relationships, and a family of like-minded churches supporting and encouraging one another.
Jon is a native of western New York and after meeting his wife Jess at Grove City College, moved to Salisbury in 2003. They have done ministry with several different churches in the Carolinas, but Salisbury has always been home. Along with their three kids and an incredible Launch Team, they started Carolina Family Church in the spring of 2017. Pastor Jon is a learner at heart and his primary pastoral ministry is teaching. He's a down-to-earth guy who just wants to walk closer with Jesus and help the church do the same.
